I haven't wrote a post in awhile...

So here's one for a change.

Reason being, my laptop is whack.

MY LAPTOP SCREEN IS NO LONGER WORKING.

fml.

Anyway, I have it plugged into the teevee right now so I can

do my work and browsing and stuff.

sigh. this sucks.

Hopefully, its not gonna cost me anything to fix, if the IT people

in my school can get it fixed.

So on kinda sorta happier note,

I just got my ELF brushes in the mail today!

Here are the ones I got,

MAD cute and pink and gemi-fied too!

Here's where the sad part comes in,

I ordered 4 brushes. Including the one I most coveted for!

THE KABUKI BRUSH!

Ahhhh!!

But it was out of stock and when my mail came,

they said they would reimburse me.

BLARH. life without a Kabuki is SO DEPRESSING.

Ugh.. Of all the brushes.....WHY?!

So another thing I bought recently is this pair of shoes from

JustFab.com.

It was on SALE! (:

But now I gotta like revoke my membership since they are

gonna charge me 40$ to maintain my account each month.

or more like FORCE me to buy more stuff.

so eff that.

Something someone important said to me..

I guess i've started wondering why I've never been sensitive to being fit or toned or eating right...

Which leads me to the next part,

recently...I think I'm getting bored of my face...

i'm gaining more just because I have my own kitchen in my house.

So i kinda sorta snack all the time..*bad ashy BAD....*

I think the time of me feeling insecure and fat has finally started.

I feel SO uncomfortable nowadays.

Why oh why did "puberty" insecurities hit me so late..

after all the puberty processes happened. yeeesh! ==

I have a huge dilemma!

I initially WAS gonna update my blog with pics and what-nots from

my GEM Island trip.

but unfortunately, my household does not use "UniFi"

which is the only internet provider with a legitimate speed.

Therefore, to upload 40 pictures,

its gonna take more than an hour and that is time I do NOT

wish to wait. After all, time is money!

And so, dear readers I suppose you guys will have to wait until

I return to the US which btw is on the 16th of Aug,

or until I find a WiFi Hotspot that does the job in under 2 mins.

Yes...I am severely IMPATIENT. (:

Until then, this shall probably be one of my latest posts for awhile....

Larrie is some shoe brand that is honestly just overpriced

Malaysian made shoes.

Also, I remembered when I tried these on in SOGO

a darn long long time ago.

I guess all things work out in due time. LOL.

Summer Vacay

Summer's so far so good.

I've watched 4? movies in 2 weeks?

I'm gonna be heading off to Gemia in 2 days,

for those who don't know where that is...

It's an island...in Terengganu!

I'm gonna be gone for 5days be back for 2days

then gone again for 3 days.

I feel like June and July are gonna be the

travel mode time of my summer.

I'm so glad that now my passport photo doesn't make

Its like really funny when the airport immigration people

look at my student VISA which was taken last year

and compare it to the passport photo which was

taken like 5 years ago,

I get the funniest stares! Lol!

Another thing about today was that.....

So I've arrived home and the countdown timer has been removed.

And since I've been home I haven't had a single second to blog!

today is my first free day where I'm not really doing anything.

I've had so much fun since I've been back,

my friends, the shopping malls, the movies, the food, and my mom (lol) is awesome!

But today,

I actually kinda think I've had enough of Malaysia already,

surprise surprise.

Some people I want to take with me to the US and others just need to disappear.

I guess there's pros and cons everywhere we go.

So yeah.

I WAS happy, but now I'm just annoyed. ugh.

totally forgot how some things SUCK here.

Like customers service, public toilets, cicaks, the heat etc etc

I HATE IT. Maybe next summer I'll skip out on Malaysia again.

Go somewhere else.

I definitely like living ALONE much better than living in my house.

So you will never believe it,

this morning, I had a final at 7:45am which I have been anticipating

since the day I found out about it,

And somehow, I KNEW that it was too early and

something was going to go wrong.

So last night I went to bed at like 2 in the morning coz I was

studying for this final right?

And I could have SWORN I turn the alarm on

on my cell phone,

But guess what?

OF COURSE THE ALARM NEVER WENT OFF

UGH.

I knew it.

So of course I got up after my final had already started,

and RAN to class,

I was 20 mins LATE.

THANK GOD nobody had finished and left

otherwise I wouldn't have been allowed to

take my final!! can you imagine?!!?

GOSH.

And it just keeps getting worse,

I think I bombed (probably just passed) the final,

I HATE THIS.

And it doesn't end there!!!!

I have another final at 3.15pm today!

And it's on my toughest subject yet,

COLLEGE ALGEBRA.

I may be asian but I still HATE MATH.

I haven't even started studying for it!!!!!

I have officially cried twice this week due

to the stupid opposite sex.

They can ALL honestly just die.

Its bad enough that I'm stressing and

working over-time on final papers,

stupid boys have to come into the already

messed up picture and ruin it

with their insensitiveness and STUPIDITY.

depressed state of mind possible

as I walk back to my room

while idiotically still hoping that by some miracle

you could grow half a brain in the time

Its times like these when I am absolutely

of my laptop looks since I first bling-ed it in the summer of '10

Sadly, I didn't have the right type of glue, neither the

multitude of crystals I would have liked.

So it ended up with only

3 pathetic lines across the front.

So, couple days ago,

I found one side of an old earring that had butterflies and

decided to cut it up and stick them on

the front of my laptop! (:

I think it looks much better now...

But still, I am not fully satisfied.

Therefore, it will be called a work in progress.

My dad has ever only had good things to say about ONE guy.

I guess he deemed this guy as to be an appropriate/suitable

People somehow always like to know what my weaknesses are.
Let me elaborate on one that just came to mind.
If this specific thing, well technically specific people, were taken away from me,
I would be devastated.
My most special BFFFFS whom play the part of keeping me sane.
The girls who respect my opinions even though I don't deserve it.
They mean the world to me.
They look up to me and I look up to them.
It's like this perfect balance of respect for each other.
I LOVE those girls (:
They know who they are (:
They are my soul mates and sisters!
And I thank God for them all the time. =D

On another note,
my mum just told me some pastor had predicted the Japan earthquake before it happened.

Regrets

You know how people say live without regret?
I think that just means live in fear of having done something wrong in the past.
I think people who claim to not have any regrets simply repress memories
of wrong doings in their past. They tend to live in blindness and hold grudges.
I for one, KNOW my regrets.
I know I could've been nicer,
I know I could've apologized first.
But I also know that nothing can change the past.
I guess living with no regrets doesn't mean you become oblivious to
the past but rather you accept it and continue on the path of life
with hope and a positive outlook for the future.

I'm still figuring out who I am and who i wanna be
and everyday, I get a step closer.
I do pray for those whom I've hurt in the past.
Even though most of you probably think I'm some hedonistic self centered biotch. Lol.
Only God will judge me.

On a happier note, going shopping today!
I've started to pack my suitcase actually even though i'm only going home a month from now,
But come on, a month passes in a blink of an eye!
Can't believe I've been away for over a year now.
I truly do miss home and all that comes with it.
The unfortunate rules, the ham chim pengs, the friends and the fam.
I miss it all.

Low Self Esteem or Low Self Confidence.
either one of those, really bug me.
Like, I don't know why....
but I'm severely unattracted to either one of those qualities in a person.
whether the person's a dude or chick.
I think I actually feel so bad for them that I'm scared that if i go near them i'll
catch the disease too. Lol. which I think is SO possible.
After all, you ARE who you hang out with.

Like, for example, this dude came up to me once in the cafeteria,
he asked if HIS FRIEND could have my number,
so I looked at him, and went, "erm, whose you're friend? do i even know him?"
He was like, "No, you don't know him, but he just wants to talk to you"
Oh "talking" btw for my Msian readers, means like, "get to know u on a more than friends level" in America.
In my head, I was thinking like,
could this friend of his be so much a freak that he couldn't come up
to me in person and just asked?
See, the problem is, the whole situation itself was a turnoff.
Moreover, the dude he sent over to the table.....
lets say was definitely no Cristiano Ronaldo double take stunner type of guy.
Whatever the reason, in the end I simply told the messenger,
"Tell ***** to come ask me himself.."
And as expected, he never did.
But see the thing is,
I got onto FB later being the curious, nosey person I was,
added the friend who had the guts to walk up to my table in the midst of the whole cafeteria,
then looked for the poor guy who didn't even dare do so. Lol.
I'm now friends with the bold guy who talked to me in the cafeteria and say hi to him on a regular basis.

And guess what? The guy who wanted my number....still hasn't asked me,
and i'm still not intending on ever talking to him.
know what the irony of it all is?

this guy........was HOT.
Ah! boys..... so silly.
If he had just talked to me in the first place, I probably would be friends with him right now.

So like recently,

I haven't really been blogging at all

due to the fact that this is kindof

a really busy, messy, crazy, low point in my life.

So many uncertainties and unanswered questions

I feel so so.....exhausted.

Soooooo gonna get a "C" in it,

if i'm lucky, that is.

But that is still is like, almost a fail.

FML.

So wtvr, college life ain't that easy after all.

Off to the Lubbock County Fair

We went to the Lubbock County Fair (:

if I'm really bored this semester

1. Today was an exceptionally uneventful day due to the fact

my good friend Amber was sick.

2. We (meg,ambs, myself) slept in till 3pm

3. At this rate, church tomorrow doesn't look like its gonna happen

4. I miss travelling. I'm jealous my fam went to Penang this week for yet, ANOTHER vacay

5. I am dead broke. money is all on Meg's card. I want CASH ppl!

6. This is kinda a good way to write more random stuff bout me don't cha think?

since the fb tag thing only had 25 things.

7. I miss my bffs from msia. hiah.

8. I'm scared of ONE guy.

9. I do not fancy black guys. Not that i'm racist or anything. But because of past

BAD experiences of being harassed by them! They seem to really like asian chicks with big booties == fml.

12. Scored a really good grade in my Accounting Exam this week. Thank God I took Accounting in homeschool!

So last week,

We felt as though we needed a new addition to the

college family.

These 2 guy friends of ours got their own apartment.

And so, they were able to have a pet!

So obviously, we took the opportunity

and went on a hunt for the perfect pet.

So we went to Pet Smart, then Wally's World of Pets.

At first though, we wanted to get a spider and name it

"KAN CHEONG"

So as most of you know....

Aug 23rd was my BD (:

I went to this restaurant called

Texas Roadhouse

to makan. The waiter who served us saw me try to

cut my bun with the knife,

And he came up to me and was like,

"I saw you try to cut your bread and I knew....

You're not from here, are you?"

LOL.

Amber says that was his pick up line.

Oh. And oddly enough,

we saw our waiter at Wal*Mart today.

Turns out he was a college student.

And at first I didn't even recognize him :P

Anyways,

Somehow, they don't sell fresh chilis here.

So I had to make do with dried chillis and one GIANT bell pepper.

Ok, sooo....I kinda put like more than 20 pieces of dried chili laa.

Coz I thought it looked like a lot of bell pepper and I wanted it to be spicy.

BAD IDEA.

Anyways,

Oh. And here's the sambal of flaming death with the shrimp in it.

THIS time, I actually cooked it till the oil separated. LOL.

i had to drink 4 cups of water with my meal

And I had to go to the bathroom like 6 times

coz of the amount of water i consumed. =="

So yesterday me and Meg came up with this genius idea of

making our own snow cones after seeing that

cool RED snow cone machine in Bed, Bath and Beyond.

So my aunt put some

Arizona Watermelon Cocktail Juice

and Mango & Passion Fruit Italian Soda

to freeze in the freezer.

Today, we went over to my other aunt's place to

get the snow cone maker machine!!! :)

The brand of the snow cone machine was

Hawaiice! and thus, explains the title of my post.

So we put the chunks of the frozen stuff in the top...

and "zhing zhing zhing" shaved ice comes out below!

Tadaaa! It was two toned summore!

My aunt turning the bowl so

it won't overflow with shaved ice.

We had Passion Fruit and Strawberry Syrup,

Agave Nectar(which is like Maple Syrup),

Gula Melacca Sprinkles, and Milano Cookies

to go with it too! it was maddd yums! ♥

So other than that,

We actually went to a Japanese store yesterday called

Marukai

It sold everything you could think of.

And to Meg's delight,

they had Origami paper!

So anyways, today Meg was playing with her new paper..

And she asked me,

"What do you want me to make?"

I was busy doing something in the kitchen

and couldn't really be bothered

with whatever she wanted/could make.

So I thought of the hardest thing to fold

and jokingly yelled out,

"Make me a peacock! Bet you can't fold that!"

then I eeeevillly chuckled

and went on with what I was doing.

about 20 mins later.............

Meg was like,

"ALL DONE! COME SEE!"

AND LOW AND BEHOLD =="

she folded TWO peacocks for me =="

ha. very funny Meg. very funny.

Today, I went to..............

I got this picture off the internet :P

But anyways, it was the first time I've ever been there.

Was kinda intrigued since I watched "Click"

And you know..he found the BEYOND section

and got that cool remote.

NO, they DON'T have a BEYOND section :(

Lol.

So anyways, I walked in, and right off the back

it reminded me of IKEA.

They had all the household items in a HUGE place.

But then.......

Here's what IKEA missed out when

they built their warehouse.

Or at least I didn't see it when I went to Ikea in Msia.

A SHOPPING CART ESCALATOR!!!! =D

It's specially built for shopping carts!

There was a sign at the bottom that said,

"No child allowed in cart on escalator"

hahaha. imagine if a kid fell out of the cart while on

that thing....

tataa hand.....and foot.....and cute kid face..LOL.
